Red Hat could attempt countermeasures
Stop issuing source code for non-GPLed/non-LGPLed software (such as BSD and MIT/X licensed)
Not a violation of most FOSS licenses
Change the license of their spec files, not allowing redistribution
Could run amuck of the GPL license 
Only issue source code patches for GPLed/LGPLed software
Could run amuck of the GPL license requiring build tools, scripts to be distributed as part of the package
